The Green Gate Consulting Team is a diverse group of experts with extensive experience in international trade, marketing, emerging market economies and foreign market entry strategies. We have lived and worked in Europe, in the United States and in Asia, and combined, we communicate in over ten foreign languages.

Agnes P. Pawelkowska
President and CEO


Agnes Pawelkowska, Founder and President of Green Gate Consulting, has extensive experience and training in international trade, emerging market economies, microfinance and international public policy. Prior to starting Green Gate Consulting, Agnes has worked in trade and international development for over eight years, frequently traveling in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. She has worked as a consultant for both U.S. and international clients, and she is familiar with challenges facing European Union (EU) countries.

While in Washington, DC with the consulting firm TCG International, LLC, Agnes worked on projects with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), U.S. Department of Commerce (USDOC), U.S. Trade Development Agency (TDA), U.S. Department of Housing Urban Development (HUD), IBM, Booz Allen Hamilton and other consulting firms. She organized and managed a number of environmental and finance related study tours for high level government officials from Bulgaria, Romania and India.

In addition to her numerous research projects, Agnes served as an Advisor for the non-profit organization International Housing Coalition (IHC). She assisted in the design and implementation of advocacy initiatives that support greater investment in shelter and housing programs in developing countries. She also researched and completed a World Bank project on land prices in cities in developing and transitional countries.

Agnes worked for several years as a consultant for the USAID Eurasian-American Partnership for Environmentally Sustainable Economies (EcoLinks) program. This program experience was instrumental in establishing Green Gate Consulting.

As a joint initiative with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the EcoLinks program addressed environmental challenges in Europe and Eurasia. The purpose of the program was to develop linkages and to facilitate European and American trade exchange between various environmental firms and organizations.

During her work for the USAID EcoLinks project Agnes promoted American exports and expanded U.S. sales in foreign markets by directly assisting American businesses in selling environmental technologies and services to Europe and Eurasia. She designed, implemented and managed international programs, events and trade missions in Europe and in the United States. Agnes also developed and implemented a comprehensive strategy to promote partnerships between European and Eurasian municipal and industry groups in Europe and Eurasia and environmental technology industries in the U.S.

Now, as President of Green Gate Consulting, Agnes is successfully leading various international projects for her company’s American and European clients. Under her management Green Gate Consulting is broadening its international experience and recognition, not only through the company’s private sector associates and clients, but also through the Governments and Embassies of different countries, including the United States and Poland.

Agnes holds a Master's Degree in Economics and International Trade from the University of Gdansk, Poland, and a Master's Degree in International Commerce and Policy from the School of Public Policy at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. In addition to English, Agnes speaks Polish, basic Russian and German.

Monika Coble
Senior Advisor


Monika brings to Green Gate Consulting her broad knowledge and experience in international relations and European Union affairs. Monika has a proven record of successful cooperation with both American and European clients. She specializes in analyzing European Union and foreign policies, and international organizations' procurement objectives for clients. Currently working for the Cohen Group in Washington, DC Monika has been actively involved in European Union affairs, and she has an insight into European economy and foreign trade policy.

While in Brussels, Belgium, Monika worked for the European Commission in the Cabinet of Commissioner Danuta Huebner, one of the most influential and well recognized Polish politicians. Monika provided the Commissioner with a sophisticated understanding of the European Union's institutions and the impact of regulatory changes on transatlantic relations. Working for the European Union Commission Monika was involved in European regional policy decisions. She understands the process of the European Union funds distribution to local country levels, and she is familiar with the European Union structure.

After arriving to Washington, DC Monika continued working for the European Commission Delegation to the U.S. as a Research Analyst at the Economics and Finance Policy Section. She acted as a liaison with U.S. Congressional staff, World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OEDC), and provided information on recent European policy developments. From her Washington, DC office Monika also prepared reports on the U.S. economy for the European Commission in Brussels and representative delegations abroad.

As an Operation and Policy Manager at the European-American Business Council in Washington, DC Monika consulted with American and European businesses on how to expand into the transatlantic market. She organized and coordinated events for clients, foreign officials, and government representatives. Through her direct involvement and team work Monika helped bridge American-European relations and she ensured better transatlantic economic collaboration.

Monika holds a Masters Degree in European Studies from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium and a Masters Degree in Managerial Econometrics from the University of Szczecin, Poland. During her Master's Degree program at the University of Leuven, Belgium, Monika was awarded a scholarship from the Flemish Department of Education for research on stock market technical analysis tools. In addition to her Masters Degrees, Monika holds a Magna Cum Laude Certificate in European Business Studies from the Lessius Hogeschool in Antwerp, Belgium.

Monika is fluent in English, Polish, French and she has a basic comprehension of German.

Kirti Devi

Kirti has worked on environmental related projects her entire career. Before arriving in Washington, DC and taking position with TCG International, LLC, Kirti was a Senior Project Development Specialist in a USAID funded $30 million joint U.S.-Indiatechnical assistance program to support local governments in attracting domestic private capital.

During this time Kirti led a financial structuring of a $100 million sewage project for the Indian city of Thane. She negotiated and secured a term sheet for a $36 million loan from the International Finance Corporation, and she structured a $22 million market borrowing. Through her efforts Kirti persuaded the city to extend networks within 130 slums. At the same time, she mobilized capital totaling $10 million and activated the Maharashtra State Urban Infrastructure Fund.

Kirti has in depth experience with environmental projects, emerging markets economies and international finance. A native of India, Kirti understands the demands and dynamics of the Indian environmental markets having worked in India on numerous assignments with USAID funded projects. Kirti has extensive contacts in the Indian Government as well as in the International Banking and Finance Community.

In Washington, DC Kirti has worked on Housing Urban Development (HUD) projects, and she completed a USAID "Water and Sanitation Toolkit for Designing Pro-Poor Water Finance" to help provide a method for identifying the ways that USAID resources can be used to facilitate sustainable financing for the provision of pro-poor water and sanitation services.

Kirti holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, Washington, DC. She received her undergraduate degree in Architecture from the Shivaji University in India, and her Post Graduate Diploma in Planning from the Center for Environmental Planning & Technology, School of Planning in Ahmedabad, India. In addition Kirti completed an Executive Program on Infrastructure in a Market Economy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Kirti is fluent in English, Hindi and Marati.

Brittany is an International Trade and Export-Import Compliance Specialist who has worked in the consulting world for over ten years, in more than twenty five countries. During her career Brittany has collaborated with various domestic and international organizations such as the U.S. Agency for International Development, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Trade and Development Agency, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the United Nations Environment Program, and the NAFTA Commission on Environmental Cooperation.

As a Senior Import/Export Specialist at Advance Micro Devices, Brittany is responsible for the company's international trade compliance training and technology access programs. Previously, as an Import/Export Compliance Manager with Quantum3D, Brittany implemented and managed companywide export/import processes and procedures while preparing license and agreement submittals for approval with the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce.

Brittany knows the technical and regulatory aspects of international trade, and she has a broad understanding of the requirements necessary to enter the foreign markets. She has worked as an International Trade Consultant and Trainer for the United Nations Environmental Program in twelve countries in the Caribbean, West Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Pacific region and Latin America.

As an International Trade Compliance Manager for the University of California in Santa Cruz (UCSC), Brittany was responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive international trade compliance program and dangerous goods shipping system for the University. She worked with researchers to apply for import permits from U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, Center for Disease Control and other government regulatory bodies.

Acting as a Director for the Silicon Valley Center for International Trade Development, Brittany trained business owners on international trade regulations for both import and export operations, including export compliance. She counseled small and medium size businesses to assist them in expanding to international markets through importing or exporting their goods and services.

In Washington, DC Brittany managed the Trade and Investment section of EcoLinks, a U.S. Agency for International Development program, designed to improve the environment in Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia through the technology transfer of U.S. environmental technology. She also worked as an International Program Manager for the Concurrent Technology Corporation, researching environmental issues resulting in her design and publication of a Customs Officer Training Manual on Ozone Depleting Substances for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).

Moreover, Brittany served as an International Consultant for the NAFTA Commission on Environmental Cooperation in Monterey, Mexico. She cooperated on US/Mexico enforcement training on ozone depleting substances trade in North America.

Brittany received her Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs (Magma cum Laude) from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University, Washington, DC. She holds a Master's Degree in International Commerce and Policy from the School of Public Policy at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. Brittany also holds a Certificate of International Studies from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid in Madrid, Spain.

Brittany is fluent in English and Spanish.

Eva Blaszczynski, GGC’s Advisor, has over ten years of experience in management consulting, market research/market intelligence, political risk and international public policy. Eva spent several years working as a management consultant for firms including Booz Allen Hamilton and A.T. Kearney (Global Business Policy Council) where she worked on budget and operations, business case analysis, growth and competitiveness strategies, project risk analysis and market research/intelligence projects for various international public and private sector clients.

Eva is currently working full time at the Economist Intelligence Unit as Senior Researcher and is leading multiple international trade related projects. Eva’s past project experience includes the financial services, telecommunications, energy, environment and infrastructure sectors. She is an expert in European Union integration, strategic marketing and communications, economic development and trade and investment strategies throughout emerging and developing markets.

Eva is a frequent commentator, analyst and advisor of U.S.-European affairs. Her publications have appeared in various U.S. and European media outlets, including The European Voice, Warsaw Business Journal, Foreign Policy and the Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE). She is also an Associate Scholar at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), a Washington D.C. research institute focused on U.S.-Central and Eastern European relations.

Eva holds a Master's Degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a concentration in Emerging Market Economics and European Studies. She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University with a double major in Political Science and International Studies.

Eva has studied at the SAIS Bologna Center in Bologna, Italy as well as at The Institute for International Mediation and Conflict Resolution in The Hague, The Netherlands. In addition to English, Eva speaks Polish, French, Italian as well as basic Spanish and Russian. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America, and Asia.

Jacob Zasada

Green Gate Consulting welcomes our newest intern. We are very pleased to have such an outstanding scholar working with us this year, and we believe he will be an excellent asset in providing valuable insights to our clients.

Jacob Zasada is a graduate student in economics at Stanford University working toward his Ph.D. His interests in economics are microeconomic theory, applied microeconomics, the economics of innovation and development economics. In his work at Green Gate Consulting, Jacob is focused on examining the investment atmosphere in Poland, and assisting our clients to expand the market for their environmental products in the U.S. and European markets. In addition, Jacob is working on understanding the transition of Poland from a command economy to a free market economy, as well as the effects of Poland’s ascension into the European Union.

Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in Economics from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). Along with his undergraduate work in economics, he engaged in research in number theory, virology and geobiology. While at Caltech, Jacob studied economics abroad at the University of Copenhagen. He also holds a Master of Arts Degree from Stanford University in Economics. In addition to his extensive graduate coursework in economics, Jacob has many years of teaching experience, which, along with his love of academic research, has led him to pursue a future career in academia. He is currently taking academic leave from Stanford, during which he has joined Green Gate Consulting as an intern. Jacob was born in Gdańsk, Poland, and he speaks Polish as well as English.
